HISTORY

It started with a kitten. "What kind of a name is Killer?" she said.

The kitten grew strong and had children of her own.

It continued with a proposal. "Marry me," he said.

Cassandra married him and they grew closer still.

It ended with a loaded promise. "I'll be just fine," she said.

They wouldn't let him go back for her.

Now he's left with a wisp of a girl condemned to predict the future who can't tell him a damn thing. "I'll try harder," she says.

His family didn't even let him grieve.

That tiny girl is his only cause left. "If they are your own, brother, then they are mine as well," he said.
